"Giving to organizations that help poor people in other countries was never something I felt comfortable doing. I always wondered if the money and the help got to the right people. That changed when a friend did some volunteer work for HOPE International and told me about the people HOPE had helped the summer she worked with them. Ever since then, I have been giving to HOPE and I am confident my donations are making a difference."

"My reasons for choosing HOPE International over other aid organizations are few and simple. They do good work. Their audit statements show that their administration costs are so low that they give 96 cents of every donated dollar to the poor."

"Last year, I attended a fundraising dinner for HOPE International and I met an amazing woman. She is Ly, HOPE's Cambodian director. Her story made such an impact on me... she uses the funds HOPE provides to help Cambodian women dig water wells in their villages. She lives very simply and she seems tireless in her work. I feel that, when I give to HOPE, I have a part in the work Ly does. She is a person with great integrity and devotion to God. Since last year, and my meeting with Ly, I have discovered that she is exactly the kind of person HOPE International routinely partners with."
