For Parvatamma and her husband, joining a community-based group was their first step on the journey out of extreme poverty. After participating in business training, they received a small loan and started a small business.
Today, Parvatamma’s business has grown and continues to grow. Their family’s income is reliable and meets all their needs. They have enough for a savings account for her children’s future dreams. Recently, she started construction of a modest home to replace the tiny hut. Her family also made a down payment on agricultural land to ensure their food security and generate additional income.
