HOPE International Development Agency continues to help Haitians rebuild their lives.

Container loads and airlifts of medical supplies and medicine continue to enable hospitals and field clinics to treat the long-term needs of Haitians injured or displaced by the earthquake. The supplies and medicine are also helping meet the immediate needs of people suffering as a result of impoverished living conditions and the ongoing concerns regarding cholera.

Enabling families grow enough food to sustain themselves and their communities
Agricultural training, seeds, tools, and low interest agricultural credit will enable families to grow enough food for their own use and for sale within the community.

Teaching families new ways to earn a sustainable livelihood that can meet all their needs
Skills training, knowledge, and access to low interest loans will enable families to create livelihoods that are sustainable and generate income year-round.

Helping families repair their damaged homes or build new ones
Construction materials, sourced locally within the community, will enable families to rebuild or improve their homes, providing shelter and comfort.

Providing families with access to clean water
Clean water will enable families to improve their health and reduce the incidence of water-borne disease within their communities. It will also enable children to return to school rather than spending their days in search of water.
