In Hope In Haiti, Calvin Boldt, a father with a deep commitment to Haiti, travels back to Haiti with HOPE International Development Agency to learn how long-term development works.

Calvin witnesses the tremendous need in Haiti - one that existed long before the earthquake: devastating poverty, no access to clean water, infertile farmland and lack of education. He also experiences the overwhelming power that communities have when they work together.

Through strong farming cooperatives, supported by HOPE International Development Agency, Haiti's rural communities are lifting themselves out of poverty and creating long-term changes that will help the entire nation.

A gift of $670 will enable one family to establish a sustainable livelihood and achieve food sufficiency. A gift of $2,000 will build a new home for one family. Six families can receive clean water for a gift of $6,000. And 12 families can receive new homes for $24,000.
